Lamb



It’s been over 6 years since our official split in 2004. Back then it felt like we might never make another Lamb record. There were many reasons for this; for one thing we both wanted to go away and pursue divergent solo projects.

So after all this time we’re back in the studio and there’s something fresh and new about the music we’re writing. It hasn’t been this way since we wrote the eponymous first album when we felt utterly unconcerned with what anyone felt about what we were doing. It was about the music and the journey it took us on. We always said we wouldn’t make another Lamb album until we had something new to say. That time has definitely come.

At The Gates

Breaking news:

At the gates will do a limited run of select shows in 2011. Simply put, we had the time of our lives during the 2008 reunion and have decided to do a couple of more shows. Although we won't be touring extensively, and we stick to the initial promise of not making anymore music. Please check our homepage and myspace for updates.

vor ein paar jahren hab ich mich noch geärgert, wenn ich eine band lieben gelernt habe,die vor meiner aktiven musikhörzeit existierte und ich keine chance haben würde, sie jemals live zu erleben.
heute weiß ich: ich wart einfach auf die reunion

auch wenn sie sich nie offiziell aufgelöst haben, gabs 2 jahre lang nix zu hören von two gallants, jetzt sind wie wieder da

Hello again

Dear dear old friends, fans, family. It has been too long. We are writing to announce that after over two years apart, we, two gallants, are once again one. Not that we were ever not one. But we have strayed quite a distance from the comforting light of the home fires. We have walked the dim lit alleys each with its requisite border of silhouetted doors. Watched the illusory trail of e-missives sent into the night. Necks in a permanent crick from askance browsings of online dating site profiles. But oh the hollow feeling to wake with the scent of a stranger upon the lips and the ineffable sense of longing for the way things used to be.

Two years ago we had become so caught up in the motions of it all that we no longer knew quite what we were doing and why we were doing it. Cogs in the machine. Dust in the wind. But there’s nothing like a well earned absence to make the heart grow fond of itself once more. We hope that you can find it in your hearts to understand. We know that some of you have been asking when we’d be back at it again. If you didn’t receive a reply from us its only because we didn’t have one. Until now.

Please join us if you can in our dearly beloved hometown of San Francisco on April 23rd, 2011 at the Bottom of the Hill. Your presence will be extremely welcomed. For those of you who have been with us for a while and those of you who intend to, we appreciate your patience and your continued interest in the music we make.

Das war bislang ja total an mir vorüber gegangen. Neuer Sänger ist Jamie Hope (Ex- The Red Shore), der Rest bleibt beim alten. Mal abwarten wie der sich bei IKTPQ am Mikro so macht. Jona hat derweil angekündigt bei BMTH zu bleiben und fortan Mitglied bei beiden Bands zu sein

Nach der Destroy Music Tour dann bitte schleunigst eine Headliner Tour in Europa! Die will ich unbedingt live sehen nachdem ich das damals auf der Darkness Over Europe Tour nicht geschafft hatte. Ich könnt mir aber auch vorstellen dass die Never Say Die! Tour da direkt die Angel auswirft

Ich habe das mit IKTPQ grad erst gelesen und erfreue mich hier meines Lebens, wie geil ist das denn?

Jetzt fehlt nur noch ne Have Heart und eine Modern Life is War Reunion und ich weine
