Ein England Termin für den Sommer steht ja anscheinend auch schon fest.

Ob Ring oder nicht ist mir eigentlich latte - ich geh eh hin - egal wo

aber in Deutschland bleiben ja nur Festivals und für die kleinen sind sie zu teuer, also bleiben nur ein paar wenige wo sie spielen könnten

1. Können sie jederzeit eigene Konzerte spielen - auch wenn sie auf der Tour hauptsächlich Festivals spielen. Haben sie in den letzten Jahren auch gemacht.

2. Letztes mal (2005) haben sie doch auch noch woanders als am Ring gespielt - nämlich auffem With Full Force.

der hier war gestern noch geschlossen, dann macht ein mod/admin den fred auf und versenkt meinen im nirgendwo ohne was dazu zu schreiben :bonk

Eine alte Nachricht:

Iron Maiden have added a concert at the Belgrade Arena on Tuesday 10th February on their way to Dubai on Ed Force One. Says manager Rod Smallwood, "We weren't able to get to Serbia in '08 so thought we should call in on our way East. When we last played a couple of years ago it was an incredible show with fans coming in on buses from all over the Balkans and we very much look forward to returning"

Tickets go on sale to the public on 11th December and we have made arrangements for a special pre-sale for fan club members on the 10th December. We also hope to run a 'FIRST TO THE BARRIER' draw for the show.

Note: It is unlikely that any other concerts will be added prior to Belgrade, making it the final European show of the 'Somewhere Back in Time Tour'.

Nun ja, da steht ja prinzipiell nur, dass keine Shows mehr vor Belgrad stattfinden und damit die aktuelle Tour beendet ist. Da steht ja nicht, ob es dann im Sommer vielleicht ein paar schnuckelige Open Airs geben könnte

Ist doch Blödsinn. Die aktuelle Tour geht noch bis 31. März.
Ich kann mir nur schwer vorstellen das man innerhalb von 2 Monaten ne neue Bühne etc herbeizaubert um ein paar Festivals zu spielen.
Ich rechne eher damit das MAiden wieder ein Album aufnehmen werden und dann im Winter oder so wieder ne Tour zu einem neuen Album machen...

Iron Maiden: Flight 666

British heavy rock legends Iron Maiden, in association with Banger Productions, EMI Records, Universal (USA) and Arts Alliance Media, announce that they will be releasing a feature length documentary film into cinemas worldwide on April 21st 2009.

As you may know from Rod's tour diaries, Iron Maiden have been working on a feature length documentary. Entitled 'IRON MAIDEN: FLIGHT 666', the movie follows the band on the first leg of their Somewhere Back In Time World Tour in February and March of 2008 as they experienced the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history, and will be released in April 2009 in association with EMI Records and Universal in the USA.

The Maiden tour plan was something that had never been attempted before on such a grand scale. Circumnavigating the globe, the band flew in a specially customised Boeing 757 airliner with their crew and 12 tons of music and stage equipment on board, playing 23 sold out stadium and arena shows in 13 countries in just 45 days, travelling 70,000km and performing to almost half a million fans.

The band were accompanied everywhere by award-winning documentary makers Banger Productions from Toronto in Canada, who have received international critical acclaim for their previous movies "Metal, A Headbangers Journey" and recently "Global Metal". Filmmakers Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn and their team bring an intimate behind the scenes view of this remarkable journey, with a close look at the logistics involved and following Team Maiden in the cockpit, on the plane and on and offstage, getting to the heart of this global adventure of a band that has very rarely even let cameras backstage before.

Hey, maiden hat ja in Wacken auch gesagt das die en neues Album im herbst bringen. Im Metal Hammer steht das auch bei den CD - Erscheinungsdaten.
DIe werden dann keine Sommer tour spielen sondern im Studio hocken un dann so im oktober wird die neue scheibe drausen sein mit viel glück

ich wette drauf das sie uns beglücken werden am Ring Nachschlag der "Somewhere back in Time-Tour" Für mich ne ganz klare Sache. Sobald die Bestätigung fürs Download kommt wirds auch auf der Ring-HP stehen.
