mir gefällt das line up, wenn auch der dance-kracher fehlt.

snow patrol sind ein tag vorher in stuttgart und ein tag nachher in paris, ich glaub, die sind schon fast gesetzt
und the prodigy ist bestimmt auch sehr wahrscheinlich, mind. ein dance kracher muss ja schon sein...

faith no more und katy perry, das ist aber eine interessante mischung

röyksopp wurden bestätigt für das springfestival in graz eine woche vor dem pinkpop!...

ich kenne mich mit holländischer musik nicht so aus, aber würde novastar, welcher ja fix am 01.06 spielt, nicht auch noch zu snow patrol passen?

schade wegen U2. faith no more sind heutzutage wirklich undenkbar als headliner.

editors franz ferdinand snow patrol, das wär doch ein schöner englischer pfingstmontag.

ich würde mich über snow patrol als head sehr freuen. auf der insel sind sie ja schon ganz gross und in amerika und auf dem europäischen festland auf dem weg dazu. am pinkpop werden sie dann also vlt co-head sein? das würde schon passen, und danach noch ein richtiger brüller. wie wärs mit U2 von denen waren snow patrol schon vorband auf der letzten tour und haben dabei auch musikalisch gut zugehört...

aber zugute halten muss man schon, dass die bands nach killers/placebo in belgien und holland wirklich fette kaliber sind.

jetzt wirds aber spannend, nun bitte noch das sämtliche tinthepark line up nach werchter holen! snow patrol, james, keane, manic street preachers, blur, white lies etc. Ein traum! einzig die doves und editors fehlen noch...

das gelände ist aber nur bei schönem wetter ein traum. bei schlechtem wetter eher ein albtraum. letztes jahr sind die zelte weggeschwommen.
st.pölten ist bestimmt ein super gelände, aber halt schon ein rechtes stück mehr im zentrum europas (östlicher)...

aber dieses quatschfestival in den usa ist von 23.-25.5. da liegen danach schon noch konzerte am pinkpop drin. HOFFENTLICH.

sehr hoffe ich das für die DOVES und GASLIGHT ANTHEM.

eher 'wenig' bands, dafür wenig 'schrott'... jede einzelne band, die am werchter spielt, hat hohe qualität.

@ turtle: diese info ist auch noch hilfreich: mit dem gratisfestivalbus kannst du gratis nach leuven fahren (fährt ca. alle 30min). das ist eine grosse stadt mit supermarkt etc.

ich war 7 jahre am ring und 4 jahre im park und am werchter ist das durchschnittsalter schon gesetzter als im park...

ein bisschen schade am werchter ist halt, dass es 'nur' zwei bühnen gibt und dass nach der musik in der nacht nicht mehr allzu viel los ist. jedenfalls kam uns das so vor als wir vor zwei jahren da waren.

jupa, wie kommst du auf den überraschungshead? kommt da noch was? (vlt wir sind helden

genau das macht das pinkpop einmalig in diesem jahr, dm und bruce.

das selbe würde für rockwerchter gelten mit coldplay und U2...

@ turtle: KoL sind auf der überholspur auf den von dir genannten bands verbeigedüst. scheinbar sind sie, gerade in england, eine konsensband, welche sowohl im alternativen als auch im härteren sowie im poppigeren Publikum Zuspruch findet. das neue album war im Q magazine das album des jahres...

aber die frage oben ist berechtigt. dann hat es ja keinen platz mehr für grössere 'headliner dance acts' wie moby, kraftwerk, groove armada, daft punk, prodigy etc., nicht?

... und Groove Armada. die sind auch auf der piste. aber KRAFTWERK das wär schon was spezielles.

meint ihr, dass noch eine richtig richtig grosse band kommt zum jubiläum (so wie bruce am pinkpop). werchter ist ja das beste vom besten und das könnte dann ja nur noch U2 sein, nicht? oder völlig ausgeschlossen?

mir fehlen die dance acts. aber mal abwarten, mit moby und kraftwerk schaut das dann gleich wieder besser aus. the whitest boy alive wären auch nett im marquee drin.
