We are ready to fire the starting gun for Roskilde Festival ’06. Starting today, 75,000 tickets are for sale.

Roskilde Festival ’06 takes place in the period June 29 – July 2, with four days of warm-up from June 25. You get eight days of festival fun including lots of music, activities and events.

Ticket prices for a Roskilde Festival ticket are:

Foo Fighters, Green Day und Audioslave auf einem festvial, fand ich schon überragend gut.

und ja ich weiss, diese bands waren auch beim werchter.

das ist einfach das roskilde. das hat halt roskilde atmosphäre.

New rumour: first music announced in late January

Something just has to happen! After a long time of
waiting, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.
The first announcements of acts to play Roskilde ’06
should finally be the way.

At last, there is good news for all those hopeful ones
who have waited impatiently since December to hear
about who will appear at this summer’s festival. To
everyone who has visited our website and read the
many rumours about the music, we now pass on
this message:

A little bird has told us that the first confirmations
are about to be settled, and the first round of
announcements could happen on Wednesday,
January 25. The rumour even speaks of several acts
being confirmed this day – knock on wood!

This is all we can say at this time.

Aber ich habe ja schon die Befürchtung das da dann morgen auf der Homepage was von "Depeche Mode", Placebo", "Korn" und ggf. noch ein paar unbekannte Dänen steht! [addsig]

Ich hätte gedacht da kommt noch mehr.
Könnte gut sein, dass uns Tool und Kanye West auch noch am Ring beehren.

Auf der Roskilde-Seite bekommt man ja fast den Eindruck, Franz Ferdinand wären Headliner. Von den beiden anderen Bands liest man ja kaum was.[addsig]

stimmt. hätte eigentlich gedacht, dass DM bestätigt werden[addsig]

Nee das war gestern schon zu lesen dass DM net kommt

ach so. dann wird es fürs roskilde evtl sehr schwierig würdige headliner zu finden[addsig]

Wie die letzten Jahre auch schon. Letztes Jahr war's ja nicht mal ausverkauft. Das wäre vor ein paar Jahren noch absolut unvorstellbar gewesen.[addsig]

Also das ist doch sehr schwach für die ersten Bestätigungen!

Aber spricht wohl dafür, dass Southside, Hurricane sowie Roskilde es sehr schwer haben werden, vernünfitge Headliner zu finden![addsig]
