Hi all, I am from England and will be coming to the festival for the first time this year. Firstly, I am confused about the concept of taking liquids in a Tetra Pak.

In the UK the only liquids we really have in Tetra Paks is Fruit Juice and milk!

Do German supermarkets sell alcohol in Tetra Paks?

Just buy a Tetra Pack of Milk or something, drink it, buy a bottle of your favourite alcohol and refill the Tetra Pack

Isn't it allowed to take bottles and other kind of basins for liquid at least to the camping ground.

And I think there might be a shop, who sells Tetra-Paks close to the festival-site.

And of course you can also buy water in a Tetra Pack, if you like (but who would? )

The Drinks above aren't sold in Tetra Packs.

You can buy milk, water, juice & wine.

I assume for the purposes of taking alcohol into the festival you could just decant from a glass bottle into a Tetra Pak could you?

yep.

Most of the times it'll work.
Sometimes the Security won't allow to bring an already opened pack but there are ways

The securities will control on a spot checked basis whether the tetra paks are closed originally.
Maybe, you better try to do it in a subtle way...

Ah ok, that is useful to know. Maybe they will be suspicious if I have a litre of milk. I better stick with wine

You can slice them up at the bottom and then use duck tape to close them. Should work fine and if you like you can make a shoulder strap out of the tape too. Should look like this:

Oh, and put the cap in your pockets before entering the festival site. Some security guards are actually enforcing this fucking useless rule. But whatever, have a good time!

Hahaha thanks Kawa

Please can I clarify what exactly the official rule is?
1. I can take 1 litre of liquid I to the festival site in a Tetra Pak.
2. Does it have to be sealed?
3. Can it have the lid on?
4. Can it be alcohol or is it supposed to be a soft drink?
5. What is the rule re the lid?

Any other rules I should know about? 😁

Thanks all x

1.Yes
2.Yes
3.Yes,but sometimes the security guards throw them away, don't know why.
4.The best way is to buy a soft drink, open it like kawa explained, then fill vodka or something else in it,and close it like kawa explained
5.I don't know what you mean

if a security member is bitching around, turn around and go to the next... ok, this wont work, when you arrive at the rush hour.
any other holes of the tetra pack can be covered with duck tape, as sown above

So, a couple of other questions:

1. Do you have to pay for parking?

2. Are there usually huge queues for showers?

3. Can you take camping chairs into the festival site?

Many thanks
