Am 24. Mai sollen die Aufnahmen des vierten Albums der Queens Of The Stone Age starten, neben Josh Homme werden offenbar Joey Castillo, Troy Van Leeuwen und Alain Johannes an den Sessions beteiligt sein. Außerdem kursiert derzeit das Gerücht, Homme hätte die Disneyland Marching Band für die Aufnahmen engagiert...

An audio sample of the new QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE single, "Little Sister", has been posted online at this location (Real Audio).

"Little Sister", the first single off the group's "Lullabies To Paralyze" album, is already burning up the airwaves on such stations as WXRK New York and KNDD Seattle, according to Billboard.com.

"Lullabies to Paralyze" is the follow-up to 2002's "Songs for the Deaf", which peaked at No. 17 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 917,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE will kick off a European tour in support of "Lullabies To Paralyze" in February, with North American dates currently pencilled in for March, according to Billboard.com.

bin gespannt wie die scheibe wird, könnte geil sein, aber vielleicht auch eher durchschnitt, da mich die single "little sister" nicht so richtig überzeugt hat. wie so oft wird es verschiedene versionen geben:

Dem Album muss man viel, viel Zeit gönnen, sonst verpasst man die ganz großen Momente da drauf.
Die Queens stehen auch weiterhin ganz oben auf dem Rockthron![addsig]

jo, es ist anders als sftd. vielleicht insgesamt nicht ganz so stark, aber doch ein gutes album, habs mir auch schon bestellt

und irgendwie hatte ich gehört, das Brody Dalle irgendwelche Parts mit eingesungen haben soll ... hab ich irgendwie noch nicht entdeckt ???

egal ... ich mein das ist ne ordentliche qosta platte, aber ich glaube sie wird nen bissel im schatten von songs of the deaf bleiben .... aber noch lange nicht drin verschwinden
