Belgische Festivals geben gemeinsame Stellungnahme zu Sicherheitsvorkehrungen 2016 ab:
The festivals themselves have also taken action. Graspop Metal Meeting, Rock Werchter, TW Classic, Dour Festival, Tomorrowland and Pukkelpop are working on collective measures based on their consultations with the authorities. Clear directives will be established on what to allow or disallow at the various festivals. The aim is to allow backpacks and bags but only following thorough inspection.
In the next few days and weeks, each of the festivals will inform its festivalgoers, staff and other interested parties of the directives and guidelines that must be observed. They will do everything in their power to make sure the additional checks run as smoothly as possible. The organisers would like to thank the fans in advance for their understanding, their willing cooperation, the extra effort they are asked to make and also for their continued vigilance.
Festivals are a celebration. This and every summer.

Die Abstimmung untereinander ist eine gute Sache. Aber wenn sich jemand in der dichten Schlange vor den Kontrollen in die Luft sprengt oder Unheil von oben kommt, hilft das ja leider nix und Folgen wären verheerend. Man muss sich im Moment - vor allem bei den belgischen, französischen und deutschen Festivals - dieser Gefahr bewusst sein und genau abwägen, wie man damit umgehen möchte.

"Unheil von oben... Der Gefahr bewusst sein" Meinst du einen Blitzschlag? Ja, daran sollte man denken. Also am besten bei Gewitter ins Auto.

Du vertrittst also die Auffassung, dass die Gefahr von terroristischen Anschlägen auf Großveranstaltungen in z.B. Belgien sich nicht verändert hat?
Mir ging es aber mehr darum, dass verstärke Taschenkontrollen am Eingang ja eine nette Idee sind, die Gefahr eines Anschlags (wie hoch diese auch immer sein mag) aber nicht im Geringsten beeinflusst.

Weiß hier jemand ob man zur Not noch von Camping A auf B umsatteln kann? Ich meine das wäre letztes Jahr so möglich gewesen, aber jetzt kann ich nichts dergleichen in den FAQs finden...es besteht die Möglichkeit dass sich unsere Gruppe kurzfristig vergrößert, wäre natürlich doof wenn dann einige von uns schon Camping A gebucht haben, das aber nicht mehr verfügbar ist und man auch nicht mehr wechseln kann.
Glaube ich nicht. Letztes Jahr ging das? Man bekommt ja spezielle Bändchen und die Größe der Campingplätze ist ja auch für eine gewisse Anzahl ausgelegt.
Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: es würde mich wundern wenn es geht, aber ich weiß es nicht

Ich meine es wäre letztes Jahr so geregelt gewesen, dass man mit einem Ticket für A auch auf Campingplatz B kann, jedoch nicht andersrum. Macht ja auch sinn, A ist ja in der Regel ausverkauft wobei auf B noch reichlich Platz ist...naja ist jetzt eh kein Notfall, wäre nur mal interessant zu wissen falls sich unsere Gruppe tatsächlich noch vergrößert.
Edit: falls das andere Leute hier interessiert, es ist tatsächlich möglich mit einem ticket für Campingplatz A auf Platz B zu wechseln, habe bei der PKP-Facebook seite nachgefragt und es wurde mir bestätigt. Wahrscheinlich für die meisten (selbst mich, da wir wohl auf A bleiben werden) irrelevant, wollte es nur mal weiterreichen.

With an abundance of new talent just waiting to be discovered, Pukkelpop has decided to add two new stages to give the stars of tomorrow (or the day after) every chance to show off their chops. Ever since its inception, one of the festival’s guiding principles has been to help launch new talent. Indeed, there’s so much new talent nowadays that the organisers have decided to introduce two new stages, viz. the Lift and the Booth. Both stages will accommodate up-and-coming artists and DJs whom the organisers think will become extremely successful in the coming years.
LIFT
The Lift accommodates some twenty exciting artists that are responsible for long queues at showcase festivals such as SXSW in Austin, Texas. Pop, rock, electronic music – anything goes, just as long as it sounds like tomorrow’s hype! The Lift welcomes promising acts on the verge of a breakthrough; if you want to catch them next year, they’ll likely draw a much bigger crowd on one of the bigger Pukkelpop stages. After all, even the biggest stars have to start small!
BOOTH
One night you’re hanging out in a gloomy club, the next day you’re squinting at the sun in Kiewit: the Booth is the perfect setting for a no-holds-barred open air bash. Think uniquely personal record collections with Italo disco gems, 12” Detroit techno, forgotten classics from way back when… The Booth offers a mix of everything from hiphop to excellent dance tracks and anything in between!

Mir sagt jetzt nur "Blaue Blume" was. Die sind dafür sehr sehr gut! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

The Black Heart Rebellion ist richtig gut!
Ne belgische Band aus dem Dunstkreis um AmenRa/Oathbreaker (Church of Ra), machen aber deutlich andere Musik, als die beiden genannten. Sehr atmosphärische Musik mit Post-Core/Post-Rock. Stammen ursprünglich aus der Hardcore Ecke, haben sich aber immer mehr in Richtung (düsteren) Post Rock entwickelt. Reinhören lohnt sich mMn.
