David Gilmour Talks New Solo Album, Tour in 2015
In an interview with Rolling Stone, David Gilmour reveals that his follow up to 2006’s On An Island should be ready for a 2015 release. “It’s coming along very well,” he said. “There are some sketches that aren’t finished and some of them will be started again. There’s a few months’ work in it yet. I’m hoping to get it out this following year.”

Just announced is the release of Rattle That Lock, David Gilmour’s new solo album, which will be available worldwide on Friday, September 18, 2015. The album will be available in four different physical formats, as well as digital downloads: a CD in a hard cover bound book package, a vinyl LP in a gatefold sleeve, a deluxe CD & DVD box set, and a deluxe CD & Blu-ray box set. In addition, David has also announced four concerts in North America to take place next year, in Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago and New York. Tickets for these shows go on sale tomorrow (Friday).
